You should make a password that is at least 8 characters or more and is a combination of alphanumeric characters.

Produce a Disaster Response Plan: Although you think that your security systems are strong, it is still advisable for you to prepare for the worst.  You need to plan ahead and map the steps you need to take in case a valuable data is stolen from you. Having a solid plan will help you to reduce the damage done, or if you are lucky, you might be able to retrieve your stolen data.

Use Encryption on Sensitive Data: It is also advisable for you to encrypt your files that contain valuable data. This will assure you that in case your data is stolen it will still be unreadable and unusable for the third-party.

Employ Security Solutions: There are many reputable companies that provide security solutions for your IT systems. They have antivirus programs that can be installed in your computers to clean up viruses, spywares, and malwares that hackers use to gain access to your data. Furthermore, these programs will also block any unauthorized access to your IT systems.

Update Your Security Systems: Although your security systems are strong for now, it will not be as effective a time pass. Hackers and web criminals are trying to create new viruses, other malicious software and new methods to have access to your data. This is the reason why you need to update your security systems regularly.

By following these steps you will have the confidence that the valuable information stored in your computer is safe and protected.
