Juniper Networks Announces Junos DDoS Secure: Junos DDoS Secure is an intelligence-based analytics solution that is aimed at preventing high-volume and targeted Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. Enterasys Networks launches Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) are gaining in popularity in the recent times, and is perhaps the preferred way to learn for working executives. Enterasys Networks (part of Siemens Enterprise Communications) has launched an MOOC targeted at students and professionals in our industry. These courses will cover topics on IP data networking, wireless technologies and security concepts (among others), are online based and is free for anyone to attend. Read more…

#8. Google Maps Engine releases API for developers: Google has announced that they now enable developers from organizations to use Google Maps from within their applications through the introduction of the API for Google Maps Engine. Read more…

#9. Infoblox introduces DNS Firewall & DHCP Fingerprinting technologies: Infoblox has upgraded its 4030 DNS Caching appliance to support DNS Firewall technology. Infoblox has also introduced DHCP fingerprinting technology for determining the device-type information and creating network access policies based on this info. Read more…

#10. Crestron introduces Mobile control through Apps for Apple devices: Crestron has introduced Smart Graphics apps to enable mobile control of the Crestron environment through the familiar iPhone/iPad interfaces. Read more…
